FracAttack
FracAttack v0.1.1-dev
EXPERIMENTAL
Fractal Node + Solo Pool
Development build
FracAttack is not block-proven yet
This app is in active development. It has not yet proven a live Fractal block find, and pool/miner behaviour may change while tuning continues.
EXPERIMENTAL
Use with care
Best suited to test hashrate until a real block find proves the full path.
Check payouts
Confirm your Fractal address and miner username before pointing hardware at it.
Useful feedback
Share miner model, hashrate, logs, and exact symptoms if something behaves oddly.

Start month is optional. Light is safest on small disks; Fast increases disk IO while scanning.

Node settings
Network, pruning, indexes
Saving updates `bitcoin.conf`. Restart the app after saving (some changes require a restart).
Mainnet is the intended FracAttack mining mode. Testnet/regtest are for development only.
0 = full archival. Pruned mode is a MiB target; use a large SSD-backed value. Fractal mining nodes can still need hundreds of GB while syncing.
Public IP or DNS name other Fractal peers should use to connect back to this node. Leave blank if you do not want to advertise an inbound address.
Normally 28343. Forward router TCP 28343 to this node's TCP 28343. Do not expose RPC port 28342.
Inbound peer access
Port forwarding lets other Fractal peers initiate connections to your node. More reachable nodes usually improves peer discovery and resilience while syncing.
Required router rule: public TCP 28343 to this device's internal TCP 28343. If your ISP uses CGNAT, inbound connections will not work unless you get a real public IP or use a VPN/tunnel with port forwarding.
Fractal node backend
FracAttack runs a Fractal Bitcoin node with its own Fractal chain data. It does not reuse AxeBTC's Bitcoin blocks or chainstate.
Merged mining with AxeBTC will be exposed separately once the AxeBTC integration path is in place.
Optional. Use only if the Fractal node will not start cleanly. This deletes FracAttack's Fractal blockchain data and starts from zero.
After saving: restart the FracAttack app to apply bitcoin.conf changes.
Pool settings
Solo payout address
This is the default payout address when -B is disabled. Restart the app after saving.
Use a Fractal Bitcoin (FB) payout address. Bech32 (bc1...) and legacy (1.../3...) are supported. If you paste a Bitcoin Cash (CashAddr) address (q.../p...), FracAttack will reject it.
Enabled: your miner User must start with a Fractal address (optionally .worker). Disabled: the Payout address above is used for blocks, and the miner User can be anything.
Difficulty (vardiff)
ckpool adjusts share difficulty per miner to keep share rates reasonable. Pick a preset based on your largest Fractal miner.
Presets are per miner, not your total fleet hashrate. Setting difficulty too high won't help find blocks; it just reduces how often shares are submitted.
Fractal presets aim for roughly 20-second share submissions. Setting difficulty too high does not help find blocks; it just reduces how often shares are submitted.
Changing difficulty reloads the pool backend (miners may briefly reconnect).
Lowest difficulty ckpool will assign (whole numbers only).
Initial difficulty for new miners (whole numbers only).
0 means no limit.
After saving: the pool reloads automatically (miners may briefly reconnect).

Buy me a donut 🍩

FracAttack is a free app. I don't take a percentage, skim rewards, or touch your coins.

You run your own private node, exactly as it should be.

If you like that approach, consider a coffee or donut donation.

Hardware
Mineshop.eu
Mineshop.eu actively supports AxeSuite and the wider home-mining community by supplying real hardware for testing. This allows live tuning profiles, thermal behavior, power curves, and pool VarDiff settings to be built and validated on real devices, in real conditions.
That hands-on support directly improves accuracy and reliability across the apps.
If you're buying mining hardware anyway, using this affiliate link helps support ongoing AxeSuite development at no extra cost. I earn a small commission which goes straight back into testing and improving the tools. Community perk: use code AXE for 3% off.
